A letter to the parents

Dear Parents and Guardians, 

Welcome to Alpha Phi at Southern Utah University! College is about more than just earning a degree. It is about finding a community that supports you, challenges you, and celebrates your successes. In Alpha Phi, we strive to create an environment where every member feels valued, empowered, and inspired to become the best version of herself.
 

Our chapter offers opportunities for leadership, academic achievement, philanthropy, personal growth, and lifelong friendship. Whether we are serving our community, supporting one another through classes, or making memories at chapter events, the bonds we build extend far beyond our years at Southern Utah University.
 

For parents and families, Alpha Phi provides a supportive network that helps members grow into confident leaders while creating a home away from home. We love welcoming families into our chapter through special events such as Parents and Moms Weekend, where loved ones can experience firsthand the sisterhood, traditions, and memories that make Alpha Phi so special.
 

Families are also encouraged to become involved in our philanthropic efforts. Alpha Phi is proud to support women's heart health through our philanthropy, raising awareness and funds for a cause that impacts women across the country. One of our favorite traditions is the annual Red Dress Gala, which brings together members, families, alumni, and community supporters for an evening dedicated to celebrating our mission and making a meaningful difference.
 

For potential new members, Alpha Phi offers more than a college experience. It offers a place to belong. Here, you will find lifelong friendships, opportunities to grow as a leader, and a community of women who will support you through every stage of life. For parents, you can feel confident knowing your daughter is joining a sisterhood that values scholarship, service, leadership, and genuine connection.
